Landscape Consultation

Landscape walk-through with a focused conversation to address your needs

Answers to questions on: Site planning, hardscape, irrigation, planting, structures, lighting, permitting, firescaping

Professional advice on the best direction for your project

Duration: Typically 1 hour

Fee: $250.00 / hour

(Additional time is billed at $125 in 30 min. increments)

Landscape Redesign

Included

Redesign all or part of your existing landscape. We deliver designs from concept to ready-to-build plans including

  • Hardscape

  • Planting

  • Lighting

  • Irrigation

  • MWELO (if applicable)

  • Drainage

  • Grading

  • Structures (decks, walls, pergolas)

  • Contractor introduction and walk-through for install bid

Prerequisite

The first step in preparing an estimate and proposal for design services, is a landscape consultation. This is a one-hour on-site meeting at your home. See above section “Landscape Design Consultation.”

Landscape Design for New Construction

Included

Similar to our Landscape Redesign service, but with leaner and expedited design phases to help you meet the requirements for new construction. We deliver stamped drawings to meet permitting requirements, including

  • Site Plan

  • Planting

  • Irrigation

  • MWELO calculations and documents

Ideal for landscape projects tied to

  • New construction 

  • Remodels / home additions

  • ADU construction

Construction Oversight / Adminstration

Included

  • Site inspections during construction

  • Final inspection

  • Plant placement and adjustments

  • Change order management

This is an additional service available to our design clients, after the design engagment is completed

Permit Drawings & Services

Included

Permit drawings and specifications

Permit application: Submittal and process management

Site inspections and meetings

Coordination with contractors, engineers, inspectors, city/county planning and building staff

Every design engagement starts with an on-site consultation.

What you get:

  • On-site meeting to review the landscape and have a conversation catered to your needs

  • Answers to specific questions related to your project. No question too big or small.

  • Professional advice on the best direction for your project

We do not produce drawings during this meeting — it’s a focused conversation.   After the consultation, you have the option to request a design estimate. But there is no obligation, as many clients are just seeking unbiased, professional advice.

A typical consultation is one hour in duration. Fee: $250.00 payable the day of the visit.
